How to find your IP address
Many of our clients have asked: How do I find the IP address of my site? It is actually very easy to find once you know where to look. First you have to determine if your WordPress install is a single site or a MultiSite network. If your admin bar has a button that says “my sites” then you have a MultiSite network.
Single Site
Log in to /wp-admin/ then click on WP Engine at the top left. See the image below, as it points out the IP address:
MultiSite
Getting the IP in MultiSite is virtually the same, only one additional step has to be taken before you can click on “WP Engine.” Hover over my sites and then click on “network admin”:
Note: If for some reason you can not get into your admin to view your IP address there is another method to find your IP address. Just go to the OpenDNS cache check site and enter your temporary address (account_name.wpengine.com) into the search field, then click “check this domain.” This is a great tool that you can also use to check the propagation of your domain name after updating the DNS for it.
