We support most plugins available for WordPress. However, there are a handful of plugins which we guarantee support for. These plugins are all free and open source and available on the WordPress Plugin Repository.  Curated means that we’ve tested these plugins on our environment to make sure that they add to the optimal performance of sites hosted on WP Engine.  We are familiar with these and provide support for them.

We also have a list of disallowed plugins that we do not allow on WP Engine.  These plugins are often very effective for sites on other hosts, but not on WP Engine for one reason or another.  In order to make things simple, we don’t allow them to be installed.
